About Adrian Tan

 

Adrian Tan is a Principal at a venture advisory firm based in the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪, helping MENA enterprises with their digital transformation and global clean energy and Generative AI startups land and grow in MENA.

 

Most recently he was the Venture Capital Business Development Lead at Amazon Web Services in Singapore 🇸🇬 🇦supporting VCs and their portfolio startups in Southeast Asia. Prior to that he was the Innovation Advisory Consultant at AWS helping enterprises on their transformational journey to delight their customers.

 

At WeWork, he was the Head of Labs helping startups and corporates scale innovation projects across Asia-Pacific  

🇸🇬 🇹🇭🇦🇺🇰🇷.

 

In 2016, he was the Program Director who helped set up Vietnam Innovative Startup Accelerator (VIISA), Vietnam's first international accelerator in Ho Chi Minh City 🇻🇳.

 

He is a Lean Enterprise and Corporate Innovation Coach who has conducted numerous innovation sprints, venture builder spin-offs with startups and multinational companies. He runs workshops on pitching, customer discovery, product-market fit, go-to-market and accessing Southeast Asia.

 

Adrian started his career as a trained high school teacher in Singapore before founding his first startup, an Edutech company.
